Our past began with Street Teaming for bands. Way, way back in my childhood I started out Street Teaming for my brothers band "Jack The Bear" while growing up in Cambridge, Ontario. Later on in life when MySpace became active I started Street Teaming for the Music I loved listening to such as The Unknownn and Slimdog. A DJ VM Underground inspired me and taught me how to interview bands. For over 2 years I was Street Teaming for the VM Underground ran their VMU E-Team and learned all about going behind the scenes interviewing bands. I remember my first audio interview I completed with Slimdog, I was really nervous for the first time but after the first interview I really enjoyed talking to the bands about their goals and career. The work was very hard in the beginning, but then I decided to become the Street Team Lead for Hollywood Music TV Canada Division in 2005, and then started HMTV Canada eZine in 2006. HMTV Canada eZine did very well and we had team members from Hollywood Music TV come on board and contribute their interviews. As all good things change and must come to an end I respected our CEO's decision of Hollywood Music to end the eZine and then went completely on my own with the help of Willie Forrest to launch Global Entertainment Mag. Global Entertainment Mag now is a humble team of members running the magazine, volunteering our time to provide free interviews to help spread the word out about great music. We work with Record Labels, Promoters, Managers and Publicists. Great "Thanks You's!" are dedicated to our teachers The VMU, Willie Forrest and our College teachers who have helped in our education and training our magazine would not exist today if it were not for our teachers and educators.
